Turnout was great as over 60 Friends, Community, and New Folks came to participate in two different Yom Hashoah programs.
First, Rav Mike Feuer did a workshop focusing on teaching the Holocaust in which important questions were raised about personal involvement and relationship to the Shoah, as well as meta-questions such as, what are our goals in teaching the Holocaust? It was a moving event as the participants shared personal accounts and stories.
Second, Dean Rav Aaron Leibowitz guided the participants through some of the words of the Eish Kodesh in attempt to open up the Holocaust to being relevant for our own spiritual practice and relationship to Hashem today.
The Spring Series of programming is off to a great start!
