JOIN US FOR A YEAR OF INTEGRATED LEARNING AND GROWTH
Sulam Yaakov, the Nachlaot Community Beit Midrash for Leadership development is excited to announce this coming year’s focus of study:
The Meaning of Money
A dedicated journey of the mind and the soul into the halachic, social and spiritual nature of ownership, poverty and wealth.
• In The Meaning of Money you will engage in a significant study of the Torah’s treatment of ownership and currency and develop a broad and deep appreciation of their meaning.
• You will encounter and explore the personal, social, and spiritual dimensions of Money, examining your own beliefs and understandings in the context of the spectrum of traditional sources.
• You will experience a series of field trips, encounters, and experiential programs designed to help you better understand how issues like wealth, poverty, debt, and economics are relevant to Torah leadership and to living a meaningful Jewish life.
The Meaning of Money is intended for intermediate and advanced students who are serious and motivated, and are looking to share in a process that is both personally profound and firmly rooted in learning.
