Yad Yaakov

A New Dimension in Jewish Education

Yad Yaakov is an Israeli organization with an American branch that is dedicated to bring Jewish knowledge and wisdom to all Jews. The organization was established nine years ago and is involved in numerous programs of all kinds in Israel and abroad.

In addition to the adult educational programs in Kfar Saba, the Yeshiva in Jerusalem, the Internet classes in Parashat HaShavu’a, Midrash and the Holidays and the “Drama & Text” high school program in Lod, Yad Yaakov is rapidly expanding its activities.

Yad Yaakov has begun work on a groundbreaking Jewish studies curriculum project for Israeli middle schools. The Nachamu Mourning and Grief Counseling Service have begun to reach out to those in their time of need. And Yad Yaakov has embarked on an ambitious Internet-based Jewish medical ethics study program.

The approach is to include all Jews in Yad Yaakov’s programs and projects, which feature the study of classical and contemporary Jewish texts in an effort to make a difference in the lives of Jews everywhere.
